She has been a cast member of the Ben Stiller Show, The Larry Sanders Show, Saturday Night Live, and The Jim Gaffigan Show, among others. She has appeared in dozens of films, including The Truth About Cats and Dogs, Wet Hot American Summer, Romy & Michele's High School Reunion, and Reality Bites. She has been a longtime activist for progressive causes.
